Jurnal Politique is committed to maintaining the integrity, transparency, and objectivity of the publication process. All authors, editors, reviewers, and other parties involved in the publication process are expected to disclose any conflicts of interest that could influence, or appear to influence, their judgment or decisions.

The journal's conflicts of interest policy is as follows:

  • Authors must disclose any financial, personal, professional, or institutional relationships that may influence the research, interpretation of findings, or publication of their manuscript.

  • Authors should disclose relevant conflicts of interest at the time of manuscript submission. If no conflicts exist, authors should explicitly state that there are no conflicts of interest to declare.

  • Editors and editorial board members must disclose any potential conflicts of interest and should not participate in editorial decisions involving manuscripts where they have a personal, professional, financial, or institutional interest.

  • Reviewers must disclose any potential conflicts of interest before accepting an invitation to review a manuscript. Reviewers should decline the assignment if their relationship with the authors, research, or institution could compromise their objectivity.

  • Conflicts of interest do not necessarily prevent publication. However, they must be appropriately disclosed and managed to ensure transparency and impartiality throughout the editorial and peer-review process.

  • The journal reserves the right to take appropriate action if a conflict of interest is discovered after publication. Such action may include requesting a disclosure statement, issuing a correction, or taking other measures as deemed necessary.

  • All disclosures will be handled with appropriate confidentiality and considered in accordance with the journal's editorial and ethical standards.

The responsibility for declaring potential conflicts of interest rests with the individuals involved in the publication process. Transparency in disclosure helps maintain trust among authors, reviewers, editors, readers, and the wider academic community.
