Plagiarism Notice

Jurnal Politique upholds the highest standards of academic integrity and does not tolerate plagiarism or unethical publication practices. All submitted manuscripts are screened using Turnitin to check for similarity. Manuscripts showing excessive similarity will be rejected automatically.

Plagiarism is understood as the appropriation of ideas, methods, results, or words of others without proper acknowledgment. This includes copying text verbatim, paraphrasing without citation, or reusing previously published work without clear reference. Even unintentional plagiarism is considered a serious violation of academic ethics.

As a guideline, manuscripts with a similarity index above 25% (excluding references) will be rejected, while those with 15–25% may be returned to authors for revision. Manuscripts below 15% are generally acceptable, provided no plagiarism is detected in critical sections such as results and discussion.

In cases of proven misconduct—such as plagiarism, data fabrication, or duplicate publication—the editors, in line with COPE flowcharts, may retract the article or issue necessary corrections to maintain the integrity of the scholarly record.
