Article Withdrawal Policy
Jurnal Politique recognizes that, in certain circumstances, an article may need to be withdrawn before or after publication. Article withdrawal is intended to maintain the accuracy, integrity, and reliability of the journal's scholarly record.
The journal's article withdrawal policy is as follows:
-
Authors may request the withdrawal of a manuscript before it is formally published by submitting a written request to the editorial office.
-
The withdrawal request must provide a clear and reasonable explanation for the request. The editor will review the request before approving the withdrawal.
-
Authors should not withdraw a manuscript simply because they disagree with editorial decisions, peer-review comments, or because they intend to submit the manuscript to another journal after the review process has begun.
-
Once an article has been formally published, withdrawal is generally not permitted, except in exceptional circumstances involving serious errors, ethical concerns, legal issues, or other matters that significantly affect the integrity of the published work.
-
If an article must be withdrawn after publication, the journal will maintain a transparent record of the withdrawal and provide an appropriate withdrawal notice explaining the reason, while preserving the integrity of the journal's publication record.
-
In cases of suspected plagiarism, duplicate publication, fabricated or falsified data, authorship disputes, or other forms of research misconduct, the journal may initiate an investigation and take appropriate action in accordance with its publication ethics policies.
-
Withdrawal does not release authors from their responsibility for ethical or legal issues arising from the manuscript.
-
Any withdrawal decision will be made by the editorial team based on the circumstances of the case and the principles of academic integrity, transparency, and fairness.
The journal encourages authors to carefully review their manuscripts before submission and to communicate promptly with the editorial office if a legitimate reason for withdrawal arises.
