Digital Archiving and Preservation
The Sunan Ampel Review of Political and Social Sciences (SARPASS) is committed to ensuring the long-term accessibility, availability, and preservation of all scholarly works published by the journal. To support this commitment, SARPASS participates in digital archiving and preservation initiatives designed to safeguard published content and ensure its continued availability for future researchers and the wider academic community.
CLOCKSS (Controlled Lots of Copies Keep Stuff Safe)
SARPASS preserves its published content through the CLOCKSS digital preservation system, a secure and decentralized archive designed to ensure the long-term preservation of scholarly publications. Through CLOCKSS, journal content is securely stored in multiple archival locations, helping ensure continued access to published articles in the event that the journal or its publishing platform becomes unavailable. Further information about the CLOCKSS system is available at the CLOCKSS system.
LOCKSS (Lots of Copies Keep Stuff Safe)
SARPASS also supports digital preservation through the LOCKSS system, which enables participating libraries to collect, store, and preserve scholarly content published by participating journals. Its distributed preservation model helps ensure that digital journal content remains accessible and protected against potential loss over time. Further information about the LOCKSS system is available at the LOCKSS Program.
Through these digital archiving and preservation initiatives, SARPASS is committed to maintaining the long-term accessibility and integrity of all published articles. These preservation practices reflect the journal's commitment to open access, scholarly communication, and the sustainable preservation of academic knowledge for future generations of researchers.
