Author Guidelines

Prospective authors are expected to adhere to the following guidelines when submitting manuscripts to The Sunan Ampel Review of Political and Social Sciences (SARPASS):

  1. Each manuscript must begin with an abstract of 200–250 words that succinctly summarizes the content of the article.

  2. The recommended length for articles is approximately 6,000 words, though shorter or longer manuscripts may be considered at the discretion of the editorial board.

  3. Submissions may be based on either conceptual frameworks or empirical research findings.

  4. Manuscripts should be submitted via email as an attachment. Microsoft Word format is preferred.

  5. References must follow the American Psychological Association (APA) citation style, with in-text citations in the format: (Author’s Name, Year). Footnotes should be reserved for supplementary information, not for citations.
