Open Access Policy

SIYAR Journal is committed to the principle of open access to scholarly research. In line with the belief that freely accessible research fosters a greater global exchange of knowledge, the journal provides immediate and unrestricted access to all of its content upon publication.

All articles published in this journal are available free of charge to readers and institutions worldwide. Users are permitted to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full texts of the articles, or use them for any other lawful purpose, without asking prior permission from the publisher or the author, in accordance with the BOAI (Budapest Open Access Initiative) definition of open access.

To ensure transparency and reusability, the journal applies a Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike (CC BY-SA) license to all published works, unless otherwise stated. This means that authors retain copyright, and their work may be shared, adapted, and redistributed in any medium or format, provided that proper credit is given to the original author(s) and source, and that any derivative works are distributed under the same license.

The journal does not charge subscription fees, pay-per-view fees, or any other access fees. Furthermore, SIYAR Journal is committed to minimizing barriers for authors by maintaining a transparent policy regarding Article Processing Charges (APCs) or publication fees. When fees are applicable, these will be clearly stated on the journal’s website.

By adopting this open access policy, SIYAR Journal seeks to:

  • Promote equitable access to academic knowledge across the globe.

  • Support the visibility and citation of authors’ works.

  • Facilitate the rapid dissemination of scholarly findings in International Relations and related fields.

  • Strengthen collaboration between academics, practitioners, policymakers, and the wider public.

In this way, the journal contributes to advancing scholarly communication and ensures that knowledge produced within the academic community benefits society at large.
