The publication of peer-reviewed articles in The Sociology of Islam (JSI) contributes to the development of credible and respected academic knowledge in the fields of sociology, Islamic studies, and related interdisciplinary scholarship. Ethical publication practices reflect the quality of scholarly work and the integrity of the institutions supporting it.
Journal Publication Ethics Guidelines
The Sociology of Islam (JSI) is committed to ensuring that all editorial decisions are conducted fairly, transparently, independently, and professionally. The journal also guarantees that commercial considerations, advertisements, sponsorships, or other financial interests will not influence editorial decisions.
The journal does not charge submission fees for manuscript processing. Any publication fee policy will be clearly communicated to authors through the official journal website.
Peer Review Policy
The Sociology of Islam (JSI) applies a double-blind peer review system, where the identities of both authors and reviewers are concealed during the review process.
