The Indonesian Journal of Political Studies (IJPS) invites scholars, researchers, and practitioners to submit original manuscripts for publication in Volume 6, Issues 1 and 2 (2026). As an open-access, peer-reviewed journal, IJPS is dedicated to advancing innovative and theoretically engaged scholarship in political science.
IJPS provides a platform for research that not only examines political phenomena but also contributes to the development and refinement of broader analytical and conceptual debates on power, governance, and political change. The journal places particular emphasis on positioning Indonesia and Southeast Asia within global scholarly conversations, encouraging contributions that treat the region as an analytically productive site for rethinking key issues in politics.
We welcome submissions that engage with, but are not limited to, the following themes:
IJPS encourages diverse methodological approaches, including qualitative, quantitative, and mixed methods. We particularly value manuscripts that demonstrate conceptual clarity, theoretical innovation, and broader relevance beyond single-case studies.
